Your Title Hopes Crushed!

Tiny Helmets representing the title hopes of a college football team.

As the hopes go, so do the helmets which we film for your enjoyment.

May your team avoid crushing.

Who we are

We are a some friends from Austin, Texas who enjoy college football. We know full well that we can't be biased and we won't. You won't see us in the videos either, this is about the teams and the tiny helmets. There is no reason to clutter it up with our ugly mugs.

The inspiration for the idea

While shopping with my friend at a sporting goods store, I saw these tiny helmets from the SEC confernce. My good friend is an Auburn Alum and knew that he would like the helmet. I also thought that it would be funny to send him the Alabama helmet and let him crush it and send his friends the pics. After all, what is better than college sports rivalry? Ok, there might be a few things, but love of one's university and dislike for your rival is pretty high on the list.

After a few seconds it hit me; equate the helmets with the teams' title hopes. When they are eliminated from the title chase, crush their helmet in a funny way. I told some friends about the idea and they all laughed and thought it was funny enough to do.

So here we are, with 68 helmets, a low budget video camera, and a bunch of weeks to conjure up ways to crush them.

This is for fun!

We mean no ill will towards any team. If anything, we hope this will provide some closure to you if your team is eliminated. We also wish all athletes a great season and even if you don't have a good season, remember, on game day of all the people who are wearing team jerseys to the stadium you are the ones actually playing. Now that is pretty freaking awesome!
